Jon also was invited to see the cockpit
When pilots on Jon's flight to the destination of his dreams learned that there was a wish child on board, the Jensen's were given first class seats. Jon and his two brothers especially enjoyed drinking orange juice in real glasses. Jon also was invited to see the cockpit.

John and Linda Jensen of Camarillo cherished the opportunity to spend time at the Kennedy Space Center with their son Jon, who was battling Neuroblastoma. The trip had been made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. Shortly after Jon lost his battle to the disease, the Jensens gathered several individuals to establish a local chapter that would serve children with life-threatening medical conditions in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.

Since its inception in 1985, with a staff of only four and the help of more than 70 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties has granted more than 600 heartfelt wishes to children in the Tri-Counties.
