Since 1985 the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties has granted one special wish to hundreds of children with life-threatening medical conditions in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. Our work has been possible only thanks to the generosity of our friends and supporters. Every day at the Make-A-Wish Foundation, we embark on the fantastic assignment of making a child's greatest wish come true. With each wish we grant, we have an opportunity to witness the impact that this once-in-a-lifetime experience has on all those who are involved. Each heartfelt request that we receive is a reminder that measuring-up to the standards of a child's imagination is no easy feat. Behind every wish we grant there are hours of work, logistics, creativity and financial resources. As we continue to learn of more eligible kids in our area, help is always needed.
